“Bioplastics, Today and Tomorrow” course

The course will be led in French by Laurent Massacrier, a specialist in biodegradable and compostable plastics.

Course Objectives

Plastics and packaging are today strongly shaken by the movements linked to “plastic bashing”. Companies need to evaluate new materials, such as bioplastics, bio-based and/or biodegradable alternatives.

At the end of the course, participants will be in a position to

• Understand the positioning of these materials
• Know the Main Product Families and the Current Limits of Use
• Evaluate the opportunity to engage in a pivot to these solutions
• Understanding regulatory and end-of-life issues
