The Swiss Polymers Cluster is delighted to collaborate with NTN Innovative Surfaces for its 2025 Annual Event, which will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in Fribourg.

This day, which will take place in English, will highlight the latest advances around the theme: “Materials, Surfaces & Interfaces for a Circular Economy of Polymeric Materials”.

Participants will have the opportunity to exchange with internationally renowned experts, including:

  • Prof. Yves Leterrier (EPFL) — sustainable surface technologies
  • Dr. Philip Scholten (Bloom Biorenewables) — valorization of lignin
  • Dr. Lars Lundquist (Nestlé SA) — rethinking packaging sustainability
  • Dr. Michel Schenker (Omya International AG) — gluten as a compostable bio-based material
  • Dr. Jérôme Larrieu (Plastic Technologies Inc.) — closed loop PET recycling
  • Dr. Hannah Mangold & Dr. Lena Marie Funke (BASF SE) — innovations in chemical and chemo-mechanical recycling
  • Christian Goldhahn (On AG) — the Cyclon circular program

On the program: round tables in the morning, plenary conferences in the afternoon, lunch buffet and networking aperitif to promote exchanges.
