Valo-Solutions SA is a Swiss company with operational sites based in Fribourg and Moutier (Jura). Operating at the intersection of the circular economy and advanced materials, the company positions itself as a distributor and integration partner for Carbon Nano-Onions (CNOs) for Swiss and European industrial clients.
CNOs: distribution and project support
Valo-Solutions markets high-purity CNOs (≥ 99.5%), multi-layered carbon nanoparticles (40–60 graphitic layers, 30–60 nm, BET surface area 130 m²/g) with remarkable tribological and mechanical properties. Their integration into technical polymer matrices — PEEK, PPA, PPS, PEKK — allows for friction coefficients below 0.05 and significantly improves the performance of composites.
Beyond simply supplying materials, Valo-Solutions supports its industrial clients throughout their integration projects: selecting the appropriate formulation, material qualification, and coordination with implementation partners.
A strong foundation in material valorization
This distribution and support activity in the field of CNOs is built upon broader expertise in material management and trading: valorization of industrial waste from the Moutier site and trading of secondary raw materials on the European market, all in compliance with the OLED, OMoD, and VVEA ordinances.
The environmental and CO₂ footprint assessment of valorization projects is carried out in collaboration with Projets21, a sister company of Valo-Solutions SA.
