The production of high-quality parts using the plastic injection process is sometimes compromised by a poor understanding of the numerous variants of injection defects that can occur. Identifying injection defects, their causes and finally applying the appropriate corrections in order to obtain quality parts at the output is a fundamental element in the field of plastics processing.
The objective of this course is to lay the foundations for a good control of the various existing injection defects, by presenting ways or actions to eliminate them during production or to avoid them by developing an appropriate geometric design from the start.
The course is composed of theoretical parts and concrete examples.
