In the world of plastic injection, in order to guarantee a high level of quality and efficient production, it is essential that the design of the part be adapted to the manufacturing process in question.
The objective of this course is to present designers in detail how to establish an optimized part design for its production by plastic injection.
In addition, this course explains how to size a plastic part in relation to its mechanical or thermal stresses. Indeed, in plastics engineering, the sizing approach is different from that used for metallic materials (steel, aluminum).
During this course, the critical points of design and dimensioning, on which particular attention is needed, will be explained and illustrated by numerous practical examples from the industrial environment.
